- Hailed as an "irrepressibly tuneful composer" by New York Music Daily/Lucid Culture, native New York composer PERI MAUER has written works for solo instruments, chamber music ensembles, orchestra, and theater. She is a graduate of Bard College, where she earned a BA in cello performance, and holds MM and BM degrees in composition from Manhattan School of Music. Recent performances of her music include Red Sky for trumpet, at Women Composers Festival of Hartford, Afterwords, for clarinet, cello, and piano by Great Noise Ensemble, Shadow Harlequi...
