You will be paid fifty per cent (50%) of J2’s adjusted gross revenue generated from your digital download music sales. Plus, J2 is responsible to pay all mechanicals (songwriter and publisher fees). Each month J2 prepares a statement of activity and sales, computes the amount payable to you and issues you a payment.

You must own the rights or be legally licensed to sell your digital download music tracks through J2 Global Digital’s distribution network. All digital download music rights on songs you recorded must be secured by you. Remember, J2 pays the mechanicals (songwriter and publishing fees) on the sales of your digital download music.
