I have a detailed resume with education, awards and professional experience on my home page on this website and invite you to look at it. I am an outstanding classical pianist, trained as a full scholarship student at the Mannes College of Music in New York City where I have lived most of my life. I studied there with perhaps the most renowned Russian pianist to teach in America, Nina Svetlanova (she has a website you can visit). I was selected by her to be in her first class in the United States and spent 5 years as her private student, achieving a BM degree from that school with a major in piano. She would of course remember me and would provide an excellent reference at your request. During those years I also was on the faculty of the Brooklyn Music School teaching private piano to approximately 20 students ranging in age from four or five through teenager, beginner to intermediate levels. I also taught group theory and ear training. My students had excellent results with my caring and insightful approach to teaching. I additionally had several private college age students of intermediate level. In recent years I have been playing on cruiseships and in lounge venues in Miami, Florida. I can submit excellent professional references by those entities at your request. If you visit my profile on this website it has a link to a YouTube video where you can here my recent playing as both piano soloist and piano/vocalist (I have worked in both capacities in the ships and in Miami.)
