I am interested in music technology & run my own home studio composing & making backing tracks for myself & other people.
I am available for freelance work as a vocal arranger, solo cabaret act, piano player, guitarist, composer & sound engineer.
Anything musical considered.

Employment History

Self employed musician from 1980 to the present day:-
1980-1983 resident "Mecca" musician as keyboard player/ backing vocals

1983-2001 covers band "Chatoosh" guitar, keyboards, lead & backing vocals. Also doing vocal arranging & sound.

2001-2008 Covers/ tribute show "Sweet Dreams" The show incorporated video imagery synched to the playback parts of the show. all of which I set up.

2008-2010- solo piano, guitar vocalist & Elton John tribute. Doing contracts for P&O ferries & various one off gigs. Freelance vocal arranging for 'Peel productions' who provide the entertainment for Thomson cruise ships.

2011. Worked for 'Peel' on Sky 1 show, 'Showboaters' as vocal arranger for the contestants. It was aired September 2011.
Also Bandleader for covers band, 'Out To Lunch' contracts for P&O ferries & Abu Dhabi.

2012- Based in the North west England, working solo as Roger Lee & Rocketman also teaching & recording.
Education

5 O levels (GCSE)
A level music,
Midsomer Norton Grammar school.
1st class BA degree in popular music & recording at Salford University.

Full Studio run by Apple mac.
Running Logic, Digital performer Reason & Cubase. Studio includes live room.
Gibson, Line 6 & Parker guitars.
Boss & line 6 guitar processors.
Nord &Korg keyboards.
Modular Adlib Audio PA, 2k to 4k to suit venue.

Other Skills / Additional Information

Outside interests include Scuba diving (I am a B.S.A.C assistant instructor) and Golf.
