Valeriy & Kseniya Duo Zambezi Resume
We are Valeriy & Kseniya from Far East of Russia and we're glad to present our duo “Zambezi”: Valeriy (lead vocal, guitar) & Kseniya (lead vocal, bass, acoustic guitar), working together more than 7 years in various cafes, clubs and restaurants, events, 5*star hotels. We have the sound of 2 really playing instruments during the whole performance, thus the music breathes and is full of energy, we can perform as acoustically as with backing tracks. It’s an ideal for lounge, cocktail, rock’n’roll party, restaurant, hotel, etc., though we perform also on dances, event parties. The repertoire consists of covers of different styles (jazz, rock'n'roll, blues, dance, latinos, rock, pop) from 1940's till the present and our playlist is flexible and constantly expands.
Our musical experience: Valeriy: plays guitar since 1979, High School of Culture (speciality – guitar), Berklee specialist certificate (3 online courses: Blues guitar, Rock guitar, Jazz guitar), studied with Michael Williams, Joe Musella, Bruce Saunders, has a recommendation letters; worked as teacher of music(guitar, bass) in children’s music school and children’s creative center, clubs, cafes, 3 orchestras (jazz, strings, folk). Work abroad China (2011), South Korea, Jeju Island, “Shilla Hotel” (July,2012-January,2013), Oman, Salalah, hotel "Marriott" (November, 2013-May,2014). Kseniya: plays guitar since 1997 and bass since 2004, Berklee specialist certificate (3 online courses: Bass performance, Rock bass improvisation, Jazz bass), studied with Danny Morris, Richard Appleman, Anthony Vitti, Jim Stinnett, has a recommendation letters; worked as teacher of music (guitar, bass) in children’s music school and children’s creative center; clubs, cafes, 2 orchestras (big band, folk), has Pedagogical University degree (teacher of English & French). Work abroad: South Korea, Jeju Island, “Shilla Hotel” (July,2012-January,2013),Oman, Salalah, hotel "Marriott" (November, 2013-May,2014). | ||
