Michele Camilloni Creative Page
Born in Rome in 1977, Michele Camilloni studied Percussion Instruments at the Conservatorio 'Santa Cecilia' of Rome, from where he graduated with top marks. In the meantime he earned a degree in Musicology from the University of Pavia cum laude. His thesis was entitled "Erich Wolfgang Korngold - una drammaturgia musicale". From 2003 to 2007 he has become the director of the musical magazine Allegro con Brio published by the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma. As a performer, he has appeared with numerous orchestras. Appearances include concerts with the Filarmonica Marchigiana Orchestra, the Orchestra di Roma e del Lazio, the Rome Symphony Orchestra, the Rome Opera House, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra. In 2007 he started his collaboration as timpanist and/or percussionist with Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra for tours and soundtracks studio productions of artists like Nicola Piovani, Luis Bacalov, Jan A.P.
