Fabio Antonio Falcone Resume

      
Fabio Falcone began his musical studies with Professor F. Rondina, following on to graduate from the Conservatorio “G. Rossini” in Pesaro, where he studied piano with Prof. G. Valentini and harpsichord with Prof. M.L. Baldassari. He completed a two year post-graduated Master Course in ‘Theory and Practice of Early Music in the Renaissance and Baroque Periods' at the University of Basilicata with Prof. Jesper Boje Christensen. During this course he attended lessons with Prof. Daniela Dolci, Dinko Fabris, Giovanni Acciai, Renato Meucci, Claudio Dall'Albero, increasing his knowledge of the theoretical and musicological aspects of Renaissance and Baroque performance practice.
Later he followed on to graduate from the Amsterdam Conservatorium in harpsichord where he is finished a second Master research on the Mid- 17th Century English music, into the class of Bob van Asperen.

He won many prizes such as the 3rd Prize and the special Prize “Domenico da Pesaro” for the best interpretation of a XVII century piece in the X edition of the National “G. Gambi” competition in Pesaro. He has played for many musical associations in Italy and abroad. He has played for the Goethe Institute in Rio Quarto (Argentina), Cultural Italian Institute in Cordoba (Argentina), Geneva Conservatoire, Dulliken Conservatoire, Zumaya International Festival (Spain), Amsterdam Conservatoium, Opera aan Zee Noordwijk (Netherlands) Koln Conservatorium, Arolser Barock-Festspiele (Germany), Maratea International Festival (Potenza, Italy), Moscow Conservatoire, the Ancient Music Festival in Perast (Montenegro), “Bonci” Theatre in Cesena, Cervantes Institute in Naples.

As a continuo player, he has collaborated with the Philarmonic String Special Orchestra at the Mahler Accademia Festival (Italy), with the University Ensemble at the“Gesualdo Oggi” Festival (Italy), with “Steglitzer Tage fur Berlino Alte Musik” at the International Festival “Ars and Ancient Music” (Montenegro), with Sweelinck Barok Orchest (SBO)in many concerts in Netherlands and Germany, with "Piccoli Olandesi" (Amsterdam), with Ensemble Odyssee (Netherlands), with Caprice Baroque (France).

Fabio Antonio Falcone a commencé ses études musicales avec Franco Rondina, et les a poursuivies jusqu'au diplôme du Conservatoire « Gioacchino Rossini » de Pesaro, élève de Giovanni Valentini pour le piano et de Maria Luisa Baldassarri pour le clavecin.
Il a suivi un Master de deux ans sur la « Théorie et pratique de la musique ancienne à la Renaissance et à l'âge baroque » auprès de l'Université de Basilicate, avec Jesper Boje Christensen. Il a ainsi suivi les cours de Daniela Dolci, Dinko Fabris, Giovanni Acciai, Renato Meucci, Claudio Dall'Albero, ce qui lui a permis de se perfectionner dans les aspects théoriques et musicologiques de la pratique exécutive de la renaissance et de l'âge baroque.

Ensuite, il a continué sa formation pour obtenir le diplôme au Conservatoire d'Amsterdam, où il a complété son deuxième Master (une recherche sur la musique anglaise du milieu du dix-septième siècle) dans la classe de Bob van Asperen.

Il a remporté nombreux prix parmi les quels le troisième prix ainsi que le prix spécial « Domenico da Pesaro » pour la meilleure interprétation du répertoire du dix-septième siècle dans la dixième édition du concours national « Gianni Gambi » à Pesaro. Il a donné des nombreux concerts en Italie et à l'étranger. Il a joué comme soliste au Goethe Institut de Rio Quarto (Argentine), à l'Institut Culturel Italien de Cordoue (Espagne), au conservatoire de Genève, au Conservatoire de Dulliken, au festival international de Zumaya (Espagne), au Conservatoire d'Amsterdam, à l'Opera aan Zee Noordwijk (Pays Bas), au Conservatoire de Cologne, au festival baroque de Arolsen (Allemagne), au festival international de Maratea (Italie), au Conservatoire de Moscou, au Festival de Perast (Monténégro), au theâtre « Bonci » de Cesena (Italie), à l'Institut Cervantes à Naples.
