International Contemporary Pianist and Lecturer

Asif Pishori is an internationally accredited Contemporary Pianist and Educator with more than 30 Years professional Experience and Training. Born and raised in London England, He now makes his home at The Rock School in Kota Kinabalu Sabah East Malaysia. His education includes Studies with Suzuki Multi Keyboard master Dr Leon Jazz, Yamaha Music Professor Dr Paul Michael James, UK Jazz Pianist Dominic Alldis & Latin Jazz Pianist Roland Perrin. Amongst many others Asif has worked with and Performed with such musical talents as Jazz Pianists Ben Odei Kwadwo and Dee Crell, Producer Composer Imi Pishori, Sound Engineer Composer Zah Pishori, Contemporary Keyboardist Anthony Kwah, Afro-Caribbean Latin Percussionist James Dean Vielma Osuna and Jazz Rock Guitarist Chris Tomas. Asif Pishori is The Program Director & the Head of The faculty of Contemporary Music studies at The Rock School. He is active on the SE Asian & International Performance scene where he leads various jazz combos including Latin Jazz funk group `SON2NOS` Jazz Funk Quartet `4 NOTES`
Asif is much in demand by both Local and touring artists.
