Only child of parents from the Great Depression World War l+II Navy veteran Daniel Evan Hauskins.
Raised, graduating El Rancho High School Pico Rivera, Los Angeles county.

Age 23 earned a Associate in Arts degree harmony-Composition-Arrangement-Orchestration with composer, pianist-organist Dr. Williametta Spencer, Professor of Music, WHITTIER COLLEGE, RIO HONDO COLLEGE Whittier, California.
